Here is a picture of Donny Hastings Wheelstanding NSCA Limited Street Camaro captured last year in Stanton Michigan, one of the hardest hooking facilities in the country! In 2004 this car ran 8.10's at 3300lbs on a 29.5 x 10.5" tire and a set of out of the box 23 degree heads. Using an MTP tune-up Donny ran his best ever E.T. and mph numbers in 2004.

Here is a shot of Joel Greathouse's record breaking Super Street Mustang captured at a 2003 PRO Fastest street car event in Cordova Illinois. In 2003 this small block Ford equipped car set the E.T. and MPH records on more than one occasion, running 7.30's at over 192mph, while weighing in at 3000+ lbs. Using an MTP tune-up Joel ran his best ever E.T. and mph numbers in 2003 and won the PRO Super Street championship, in a points chase that came down to the final round of the last race of the season, where he had to face none other than MTP customer Ray Sanchez. Joel has "retired" as a car owner, but can be found driving Mark VanMeter's turbocharged 10.5" tired mustang.

Ray Sanchez igniting the hides at an NSCA event in 2004. This is the car that appeared on the April 2004 cover on GM High Tech performance. In 2004 Ray managed to continue his reign as the "top dog" of OSCA Super Street running 7.40's at 190mph . As the competition continues to raise the bar, Ray has recently stepped up the program dropping in a 522ci Stefko racing engines powerplant. In early testing, the newfound torque has proven to be too much for the current chassis setup. Slipping and sliding nearly the full length of the track Ray has already carded some mid 7's at speeds up to 195mph with the "little" blower. ***UPDATE 10-07-2006 *** The team continues to close in on the 6-second zone. At a recent OSCA event the team qualified with their best effort to date running 7.23@197 mph. With a few tweaks in place for eliminations the weekend of 10-14-2006 the team has their eyes on the 7.0's..!
Click here to watch a video of Ray's 7.18 pass at the US Street Nationals in Bradenton Florida. Ray and team managed to qualify 9th in a field of 37 of the continent's fastest cars while weighing in at 200lbs over minimum weight. Look for the car to go on a diet soon...
Click here to watch some video of the silver Camaro's first passes with a pair of 88mm turbos. We'll be sure to post some updates once we get the new combo sorted out. We're off to a late start but will be ready for the cool fall air!

Here is a shot of our test mule at a recent event at MoKan dragway in southern Missouri. Though passes at this event were limited to 1/8th mile runs, we were able to run easy mid 6's at speeds approaching 110 mph. A busy road schedule the past few seasons has kept us from spending as much time at the track as we would like. Our supercharged, DFI equipped '48 Plymouth will soon be decommisioned in favor of a more modern SFI 25.5 spec chassis, Ford Fairmont, yes a Fairmont!. Look for it to hit the track some time late in 2006.
